#### Railway Colony SHO Ram Swaroop Meena Emerges as City’s Police Hero

Kota – Railway Colony Police Station’s SHO Ram Swaroop Meena has earned accolades for his exceptional work in curbing crime and building public trust in law enforcement. Over the past few months, he has successfully solved multiple criminal cases, arrested offenders, and ensured swift justice in theft, molestation, and cybercrime incidents. His proactive approach has strengthened the positive image of the police among citizens.

Recognition for Bravery and Service

Known for his integrity, courage, and commitment, Meena has become the top-performing officer among Kota’s 22 police stations and 28 outposts in terms of actions against criminals. Kota City SP Tejaswani Gautam personally congratulated him, confirming him as the number one officer in the city for crime control. Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma has also praised Meena’s bravery and promoted him from Sub-Inspector to Inspector.

Notable Operations

June 2023 Firing Incident: Meena led his team in pursuing five armed criminals who fired at civilians in Ranpur. The encounter involved gunfire; two police officers were injured, and Meena sustained a facial injury under his eye. The culprits were arrested, leading to his promotion.

Operation Garungvyuh: Two accused, Govind Saini and Narendra Singh Naruka, were arrested and 2.401 kg of marijuana seized. This was conducted under the supervision of ASP Dilip Kumar Saini and Dy. SP Gangasahay Sharma.

Kidnapping Rescue: Railway Colony police, led by Meena, rescued two abducted Gujarat traders from Maharashtra, seizing a pistol and live ammunition. The accused had demanded a ₹20 lakh ransom.

Interstate Theft Gang Bust: An interstate theft gang using the “lock-opening” technique was dismantled; four accused, including a father, son, and two sons-in-law, were arrested, and gold and silver jewelry recovered.

Rapid Bike Theft Investigation: A stolen bike was recovered within 72 hours, demonstrating the efficiency and dedication of Meena’s team.
