MILITARY HOSPITAL JAIPUR EMPOWERS    MILITARY NURSING WITH TECHNOLOGY

Jaipur : As part of the Centenary Celebrations of the Military Nursing Service (MNS), Military Hospital Jaipur proudly organized and conducted Continued Nursing Education (CNE) programme on 02 August 2025, with the theme ‘Nursing Adaptations in the Digital Era.’ The event was inaugurated by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, who also released the CNE resource material. In his keynote address, he lauded the evolving role of Military Nurses in embracing digital technologies and emphasized the need to adapt rapidly to technological advancements to ensure high-quality, patient-centric care in contemporary healthcare environment.

The event, conducted in a hybrid format both offline and online modes, witnessed enthusiastic participation from nursing officers and medical professionals across the Command. It featured a thought-provoking address by Mr. Prakash Singh, Partner Consulting, Ernst & Young, who shared insights into how digital transformation is reshaping global healthcare systems. His address set the tone for the technical sessions that followed, highlighting the significance of digital literacy among healthcare providers, especially in the field of military nursing.

Subject Matter Experts conducted engaging sessions on a wide range of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence in clinical decision-making, Machine Learning for predictive analysis, Internet of Things (IoT) in remote patient monitoring, Electronic Health Records for data integration, Wearable Health Devices for real-time tracking, and Monitoring techniques in difficult terrains all of which are crucial in both combat and peacetime medical settings. These sessions not only enriched the participants’ knowledge but also emphasized the applicability of these tools in operational and field conditions.

CNE serve as a vital platform for knowledge exchange, skill enhancement, and professional networking. It reinforces the dedication of Military Nursing Service’s to stay at the forefront of healthcare innovation and patient care.
