#### Sanskrit is the Soul of Indian Culture: Satyanarayan Bhatt

Udaipur: “The entirety of Indian culture is the gift of Sanskrit, and it is deeply rooted in Sanskrit itself,” said Satyanarayan Bhatt, National General Secretary of Sanskrit Bharati, while addressing the valedictory session of the week-long Sanskrit Saptah celebrations organized on the occasion of Shravan Purnima under the aegis of Sanskrit Bharati, Udaipur.

Drawing a parallel, Bhatt remarked, “Just as immunity prevents disease from entering the body, Sanskrit prevents obstacles from harming Bharat. Sanskrit is India’s soul, and its adoption in daily life is essential for the nation’s renaissance.”

The grand event, supported by Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Pacific University, Wonder Cement, and Miraj Group, commenced with traditional lamp lighting and chanting of the Vedic hymn “Deepa Prajwalanam Shubham Karoti…”. The invocation was presented by Dr. Bhagwati Shankar Vyas, Sanskrit Education Officer.

“Sanskrit is the Language of Values and Dialogue”

Special guest Mahamandaleshwar Uttam Swami Maharaj said, “India is not the land of disputes but of dialogue. Sanskrit is the sole language of values. There is no word in Sanskrit that is not a mantra. This glorious mother of 864 languages is gaining global recognition, and if its spread is not possible across India at once, at least Mewar should take a pledge to carry this forward.” He also recalled the unforgettable contributions of RSS founder Dr. Hedgewar.

Udaipur Range IG Gaurav Srivastava described Sanskrit as the “Recharge Language of the World,” holding within it both compassion and wisdom. He emphasized that Sanskrit must be adopted in practical life, not confined to scriptures alone.

MLA Phool Singh Meena pledged to make Sanskrit a language of the people, stressing, “The more students learn Sanskrit, the more they become cultured, and a cultured nation becomes a world leader.”

Tribal Development Minister Babulal Kharadi underlined the role of educational institutions in Sanskrit promotion, pointing out that the new education policy has given Sanskrit a central place.

Rajsamand MLA Deepti Maheshwari extended congratulations to the winners and encouraged youth to embrace Sanskrit learning.

“Sanskrit is the Foundation of Bharat as Vishwaguru”

Presiding over the function, Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, Vice-Chancellor, said, “Sanskrit is key to awakening national consciousness and reinstating Bharat as Vishwaguru. It is a language of science, refinement, spirituality, and liberation. Our civilization and values make us world leaders, and Sanskrit is the vehicle of that heritage.”

Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar too described Sanskrit as the soul of the nation and a priceless cultural treasure.

On this occasion, the Sanskriti Gaurav Samman was conferred on Rajendra Singh Charan, Devendra Singh Rathore, Dinesh Bhatt, and Yuvraj Singh Rathore.
