Udaipur. The French automobile manufacturer Renault Group’s subsidiary, Renault India, unveiled the new Renault Kiger at Divakar Motors showroom located opposite Ekling Chavni today. The unveiling was carried out by Rajeev Namjoshi, Managing Director of Divakar Motors, Priyanka Agnihotri, Director, and Jitendra from RNO Finance. The upgraded Kiger comes equipped with 35 new features and 21 standard safety features, setting a new benchmark in the compact SUV segment.
Rajeev Namjoshi informed that the new Kiger has been developed under the ‘Rethink Performance’ philosophy, featuring a powerful 100 PS turbocharged engine along with more than 35 premium upgrades. These advancements not only enhance performance but also make the vehicle more robust, premium, and secure for Indian customers.
The exterior highlights include an attractive front grille, redesigned hood, T-shaped front and rear bumpers, LED headlamps, taillamps, fog lamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and skid plates.
Divakar Motors’ General Manager Ravindra Singh shared that the interior has been redefined with a dual-tone dashboard, ventilated leatherette seats, new upholstery, and improved noise insulation, offering a more premium cabin experience.
On the technology front, the SUV comes with a 360-degree multi-view camera, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, wireless smartphone connectivity, a 20.32 cm floating touchscreen infotainment system, and a premium 3D sound system. The 100 PS turbocharged engine ensures the best-in-class power-to-weight ratio along with segment-leading fuel efficiency.
Director Priyanka Agnihotri highlighted that all variants of the new Kiger will now include 21 standard safety features such as 6 airbags, ESP traction control, hill-start assist, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The SUV will be available in seven colour options, including the all-new Osmos Yellow and Shadow Grey.
She further added that launching this new evolution of Kiger is a proud moment for Renault, especially in a segment that is growing at the fastest pace, contributing 50% of SUV sales and 31% of the overall TIV in India. Since its inception, Kiger has been a unique product in its segment, and with this upgrade, Renault aims to make expressive design, intelligent engineering, and real-value performance more accessible to Indian customers. This launch also marks an important milestone in Renault’s India-centric transformation journey.
