Serious Efforts Must Be Made to Ground MoUs Signed at Rising Rajasthan – Alok Gupta

Udaipur:A review meeting of the MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit was held on Saturday at the Mini Conference Hall of the District Collectorate, under the chairmanship of Shri Alok Gupta, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department.

During the meeting, District Collector Namit Mehta gave a detailed presentation on the progress of MoUs under the summit. It was informed that nearly 125 MoUs have already seen commencement of work in Udaipur district, involving proposed investments of approximately ₹10,000 crore.

Principal Secretary Alok Gupta directed all departments to make serious and coordinated efforts to bring these MoUs to fruition. He emphasized that if any investor’s file or process is pending in any department, it should be immediately resolved in coordination with the concerned authority. For MoUs where all formalities are already complete, the departments must stay in regular touch with the MoU holders to ensure on-ground execution.

He further instructed that any departmental bottlenecks must be reported without delay. "Rising Rajasthan is a flagship initiative of the state government, and the execution of these MoUs must be monitored closely with consistent follow-ups," he stressed.

The meeting was attended by Udaipur Development Authority Commissioner Rahul Jain, ADM Deependra Singh Rathore, RIICO DGM Ajay Pandia, Deputy Director of Tourism Shikha Saxena, and General Manager of District Industries and Commerce Center Shailendra Sharma.
