Udaipur On Saturday, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan, floral tributes were paid to former minister Late Khemraj Katara on his death anniversary at the Congress Media Centre, Dhan Mandi.
Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary and Spokesperson Pankaj Kumar Sharma offered flowers at Katara’s portrait and paid his respects. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that Late Katara had made significant contributions towards the upliftment of the tribal community, and his efforts would always be remembered.
The main function was held at Barapal, where hundreds of well-wishers along with Congress leaders offered floral tributes. At this juncture, the late leader’s wife, the Pradhan of Girwa, and his son Vivek Katara were present.
The event was also attended by Naresh Sahu, Vinod Suthar, Vijay Pandiyar, Om Agal, Kalu Lal Jain, Kripashankar Mishra, and several other distinguished guests.
