#### Orion’s 2025 – Fresher’s Welcome at SPSU

Orion’s 2025, the much-awaited Fresher’s Day celebration, was held on 19th September 2025 with great enthusiasm and joy at Sir Padampat Singhania University Udaipur. The Honourable President and Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav urged the students to uphold the university’s values of discipline, resilience, and excellence. Organized by the second-year students under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) D.S. Chouhan, Dy. Dean, Student Welfare & Dr. Archana Gajbhiye, Coordinator- Student Welfare the event brought together engaging games, cultural performances, and a joyous atmosphere of camaraderie.

The highlight of the evening was Mr. and Ms. Fresher’s Contest, where participants impressed the audience and judges through rounds of introduction, talent, and Q&A session. After an exciting and engaging competition, Mr. Jay Joshi, B. Tech CSE (AIML) was adjudged as Mr. Fresher 2025, while Ms. Hasini Thota B. Tech CSE (DS) was crowned Ms. Fresher 2025. The Pro President, Prof. Prasun Chakrabarti and Deputy Dean FM, Prof. Shweta Lalwani felicitated Mr. and Ms. Fresher respectively.

The celebrations were followed by an energetic DJ Night, where students came together to dance, celebrate, and create memories, making the evening truly unforgettable.

The organizing committee extended heartfelt gratitude to the Honourable President, Prof. Dr. Prithvi Yadav, Pro President, Prof. Dr. Prasun Chakrabarti, the Registrar, Campus Director, the Deans, Faculty Members and Staff, for their invaluable support and encouragement in making Orion’s 2025 a grand success. The event marked a joyous beginning for the fresher students, setting a positive tone for their journey ahead.
