#### Tree Plantation Drive "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" Organized at Pacific University

Udaipur, A one-day tree plantation drive under the theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” was organized at the Pacific Grounds by the Pacific Institute of Hotel Management, Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University. The initiative was dedicated to spreading awareness about environmental conservation.

Leaders and Students Join Hands for Green Cause

The event was graced by the President of the University, Professor Hemant Kothari, as the chief guest. He was accompanied by Director Mr. Vinod Kumar Singh Bhadoria, Deputy Principal Mr. Jacob John, faculty members, and enthusiastic students who actively participated in planting saplings.

Commitment Towards Environmental Protection

Addressing the gathering, Director Mr. Vinod Kumar Singh Bhadoria highlighted that natural disasters in the 21st century are on the rise mainly due to rampant deforestation. He urged that if each individual resolves to plant at least one sapling every year, the environment can be safeguarded for future generations.

Importance of Sustainability in Tourism

University President Professor Hemant Kothari emphasized the importance of environmental protection and encouraged students to promote sustainable tourism. He remarked that tourism can thrive only if the environment remains protected and preserved.

Vote of Thanks and Closing Remarks

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Deputy Principal Mr. Jacob John, who appealed to everyone to pledge themselves as guardians of at least one tree. The program was coordinated under the leadership of faculty member Mr. Saurabh Saxena.
