Darshan Dental College & Hospital situated at village Loyara near Udaipur is serving in the field of Dentistry since 1999.trustee Dr. J.K. Tayalia informed that college is affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health sciences, Jaipur and recognized by Dental Council of India. Every year 100 B.D.S. and 31 MDS students get trained by highly qualified faculty. College has excellent infrastructure and latest equipments, so that the best possible dental care is provided to the patients at a very nominal cost.
As per Mr. N.S. Khamesra, General Manager, Doctors from the college visit various rural and urban areas to educate the people about dental health and hygiene measures. The college has adopted four nearby villages namely, Rama, Chatia Khedi , Kachapa and Dangiyo Ka Guda where regular Dental Camps are organized and free dental treatment is provided.
From time to time the college organized free dental check up camps at Blind School, Asha Dham , Narayan Seva Sansthan, Theosophical Society , Vigyan Samiti and other societies.
During special occasion’s college organized awareness camp, rallies, street acts etc. at schools and other places to educate the society about dental health, adverse effects of tobacco.
Principal Dr. Shital Hungund told that college has nine departments pertaining to 9 specialties of dentistry where all aspects of dental treatments are take care of. All sorts of dental treatments are provided in the Hospital including fabrication of new teeth, capping of old teeth, fixed replacements, implants, root canal treatments, fillings, extraction, cleaning etc by experienced Doctors. Fractures of jaw and face are operated by experienced surgeons. College has its own well equipped operation theatre and ward. All the treatments are done on a nominal cost. Free treatment is provided to school children.
