Dhanmandi Girls School Excels in Handball and Chess Competitions

Udaipur: Students of the Government Girls’ Senior Secondary School, Dhanmandi, delivered an outstanding performance in various sports competitions. In Handball (Under-17), Komal Nagda was selected at the state level, while in Handball (Under-19), Mahima Verma and Anju Od were selected at the state level, with the team securing fourth place at the district level.

In the district-level chess competition, the school team achieved third place, and at the state level, they secured second place. Bhumikha Sahu’s performance was particularly noteworthy.

On this occasion, all the players and Physical Education teacher Vishnukanta Sharma were honored with uparna (shawls) in recognition of their achievements. Principal Seema Kumawat congratulated the students, praising their dedication, focus, and hard work for bringing honor to the school and Udaipur. The players were also congratulated by Shilpa Yagnik, Alam Ara, Abha Tiwari, Pratap Singh, Sangeeta Singhvi, Kusumlata, Poonam Gupta, Akshita, Akhilesh, and Aruna Vyas.
