Udaipur: In accordance with the directives of the NITI Aayog, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma conducted a review meeting via video conference with all district collectors and relevant officials on Friday regarding the progress of the Aspirational Block Program, with Kherwara Block in Udaipur being the chosen block for the program.
During the meeting, Chief Secretary Sharma gathered information on the activities carried out so far in all 27 selected blocks across the state, as per the guidelines provided by the NITI Aayog. She also conducted a detailed review of 39 different tasks across 10 departments under the program. Stressing the importance of this program, she noted that specific timelines have been set for each task by the NITI Aayog.
Chief Secretary Sharma urged all district collectors to ensure that all activities in the selected blocks are completed on time and that information is sent to the NITI Aayog in compliance with their guidelines. She also informed about the upcoming Resolution Week program scheduled to commence on September 30, where the Chief Executive Officer of the District Council (CEODC) and relevant officials will participate.
In the video conference, the Principal Scheme Officer, Puneet Sharma, and other departmental officials, along with officers from the selected Kherwara Block in Udaipur, participated. Principal Scheme Officer Puneet Sharma mentioned that training and brainstorming sessions have already been organized in the selected Kherwara Block in Udaipur, and block-level reports are being prepared to be submitted within the stipulated time.
