Udaipur | On Monday, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha and Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a descendant of Maharana Pratap and member of the Mewar royal family, had a courtesy meeting at the City Palace. Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar welcomed Chief Minister Manik Saha with a bouquet, following the traditional Mewari customs.
During the meeting, Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh and Chief Minister Saha discussed Mewar's glorious history, art, literature, culture, and various contemporary issues. They also deliberated on the water management systems during the princely state era of Mewar. Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh shared that the Maharanas of Mewar developed Udaipur with the vision of ensuring prosperity for the city for the next 1000 years.
