In the District Chess U-13 competition organized by the District Chess Association, Neminath Chess Club, and Sanmati Chess Academy, Parshva and Advika emerged as the winners, with Meheul and Bhavya securing the runner-up positions.
The concluding event was graced by the chief guest, Mr. Manmohan Singhvi from SS College, along with distinguished guests Akbar Khan and Kirteshwari Rathore. Rohit Lodha, the event coordinator, provided details on the competition, mentioning that in the girls' category, Advika Sarupariya emerged as the champion, and Bhavya Maheshwari secured the runner-up position. In the boys' category, Parshva Paramar claimed the championship, while Meheul Paliwal became the runner-up.
In the girls' category, Aayat Bajaj secured the third position, followed by Himani Chhaparwal in fourth place, Lorisha Kothari in fifth place, Nehal Talesara in sixth place, Charvi Maheshwari in seventh place, Saachi Jain in eighth place, Jaisvi Chaubisa in ninth place, and Vihana Kothari in tenth place.
In the boys' category, Sarvesh Kamlesh Pandhare claimed the third position, followed by Dhruvin Jain in fourth place, Gagan Dak in fifth place, Chaitanya Lohar in sixth place, Param Vadhwani in seventh place, Nihal Patel in eighth place, Mohak Harimor in ninth place, and Lav Agarwal in tenth place.
The event organizer, Swati Sarupariya, mentioned that the top two players from both categories will represent Udaipur district in the upcoming state-level competition. Additionally, all selected participants will receive daily allowances and rent allowances from the District Association.
