Bhagwat Katha Ensures Eternal Welfare

Barmer. Under the aegis of Maa Bhagwati Gaushala and Cow Science Center, Neemdi, the ongoing Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya continued on its second day at Neemdi Mata Ji Temple. On Thursday, the narration covered the birth of Sukadeva Ji along with the immortal stories of Bhagwat.

Katha Vachak Saint Mohit Nagar, commencing the discourse, expressed that it was by the grace of Thakur Ji that devotees were blessed to enjoy and imbibe the nectar of Bhagwat Katha. He emphasized that one must approach the Katha with a thirst to learn and receive, as it imparts not just something but a great deal to the listener.

He further explained that human life is not meant for indulgence in worldly pleasures but for Krishna devotion, which is the ultimate purpose of existence. Saint Nagar stressed that the true objective of life is to attain Krishna, which surpasses any wealth, property, or material happiness. Without distinction of caste or creed, Bhagwat Katha fulfills the wishes of the devotees, and for those who seek nothing, it guides them towards salvation.

During the ceremony, yajman Khartharam Chaudhary performed Ganpati Peeth and Vyasa Puja and honored the Katha Vyas with a traditional safa. Arjun Sharma, Rameshwar Prasad, Ram Kishore Bindal, Rau Ram Chaudhary, Bhair Singh Rajpurohit, and Dr. Ramkumar Joshi felicitated the Katha Vyas with garlands and received blessings.

Program Chairperson Om Prakash Mehta informed that Purushottam Gupta, Jugal Kishore Gupta, Om Prakash Chandak, Narayan Das Rathi, Pukhraj Tapadiya, Chelaram Sindhi, Sushila Mehta, Narbada Gupta, Shobha Mundda, Sangeeta Gupta, and Sadhvi Anu, along with a large number of devotees, were present.
