Special Event at Geetanjali Hospital on World Palliative Care Day

Udaipur: Geetanjali Hospital’s Cancer Department and Pain & Palliative Care Unit organized a special program today on the occasion of World Palliative Care Day.

The event was attended enthusiastically by Dr. Seema Paratani (HOD), Dr. Naveen Patidar, along with the entire team of doctors, staff members, patients, and their attendants from the Cancer Department. The day was celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony and other activities.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Seema Paratani said, “The purpose of palliative care is not just to treat the disease but to alleviate the physical, mental, and emotional pain of the patient. This service helps maintain the quality of life for patients.”
