Special campaign will run in the district to give accountability through non-accountancy: - District Collector

 Sriganganagar/ District Collector Shri Mahavir Prasad Verma said that a special campaign will be run at the tehsil level for non-accountability.   District Collector Shri Verma said that in this regard, all the subdivision officers have been directed to carry out special campaigns in their respective subdivision areas to settle the pending cases of non-accountability and Patwari, Girdawar and Tehsildar will examine all the cases.  He said that in cases where there is no legal hurdle in giving accountability, relief should be given by organizing a special camp for giving accountability rights to such non-account holders in the next 15 days and all subdivision officers should submit a cradle report to the District Collector.

 The District Collector said that the non-accountable cases, where there is a legal impediment, or the accountability cannot be given, should be sent to the State Government and also make their suggestions, by making appropriate proposals for resolving it.

 It is necessary to mention here that in the VC taken by Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Gehlot on January 13, all the District Collectors were instructed to settle such cases from non-accountability and the Chief Minister took it very seriously.  District Collector Shri Verma gave the subdivision wise status of such cases, in which 933 of Suratgarh, 1093 of Anupgarh, Sadulshahar 333, Raisinghnagar 1543, Ganganagar 471, Karanpur 464, Padampur 212, Ghadasana 1142, Rawala (Tehsil) 927 cases have to be settled.

 District Collector Shri Mahavir Prasad Verma has appealed to the common man to take maximum benefit of these special camps and get accountability rights.  This effort of the district collector in the direction of public interest is highly appreciated.
