#### International Conference on “Trends of Transformation in Oncology” Begins in Udaipur

Udaipur, A three-day international conference, “Trends of Transformation in Oncology”, commenced today in Udaipur to deliberate on revolutionary changes in cancer treatment. The event is jointly organized by Pacific Medical College & Hospital (PMCH), Paras, HMRI, IASCO, Menken Foundation, and Cancer Research & Statistic Foundation.

The inauguration was conducted by lighting the ceremonial lamp before Lord Ganesha by Dr. Purvish Parikh (Former Head, Medical Oncology, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai), PMCH Director Dr. Preeti Agrawal, Executive Director Aman Agrawal, President of Pacific Medical University Dr. M.M. Mangal, PMCH Principal Dr. U.S. Parihar, Conference Chairman Dr. Manoj Mahajan, and Oncosurgeon Dr. Saurabh Sharma.

For the fifth consecutive year, Udaipur has become the host to an international oncology conference. On the first day, the primary focus remained on CAR T-Cell therapy, complexities of cellular treatments, and innovations. More than 100 cancer specialists from India and abroad are participating and sharing insights.

PMCH Director Dr. Preeti Agrawal and Executive Director Aman Agrawal expressed happiness over the success of the conference, calling it a significant step to place Udaipur on the global medical map.

Highlights of Day One:

CAR T-Cell Therapy & Hematological Malignancies: Experts including Dr. Nguyen Duy Sinh (Japan) and Dr. Vijay Patil (Tata Memorial, Mumbai) discussed real-world data vs. clinical trials, biomarkers, and patient selection.

Complications in Cellular Therapy: Dr. Saurabh Sharma elaborated on CRS, ICANS, cytopenia, and long-term follow-ups.

New Approaches in Multiple Myeloma: Dr. Ashay Karpe stressed early diagnosis for higher treatment success.

Emerging Frontiers in Cell Therapy: Dr. Manoj Mahajan highlighted dual-target CARs, allogeneic products, and gene-edited cells as game changers.

Additionally, a special OPD for second opinions has been set up for cancer patients at Sunrise Cancer Care Clinic, Udaipur, where international and national specialists will provide consultations over three days.

The conference aims to strengthen global collaborations, improve patient awareness, and bring cutting-edge oncology practices closer to society.
