Udaipur, The 65th Board of Management meeting of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, was held at the Administrative Office under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ajeet Kumar Karnatak.
The meeting was attended by MLA Dr. Suresh Dhakad, Dr. Surendra Kothari, Mr. Suhas Manohar, Dr. V.D. Mudgal, Dr. Kavita Joshi, Dr. Arvind Verma, Dr. Lokesh Gupta, and Registrar Dr. B.D. Kumawat.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Karnatak highlighted the university’s recent achievements:
MPUAT ranked first among state-funded universities in the NIRF Rankings 2025.
The university achieved a Scopus Index of 83 and a Google H-Index of 81 through quality research outcomes.
MPUAT has consistently received the Chancellor’s Award under the Smart Village Initiative from the Hon’ble Governor.
Over the last three years, the university filed 43 patents and signed 33 MoUs with reputed national and international institutions.
Dr. Karnatak credited these achievements to the dedicated efforts of university officials, scientists, researchers, scholars, and students. He reaffirmed that MPUAT remains committed to promoting excellence in agricultural education, research, and innovations while extending their benefits to farmers.
He further emphasized that MPUAT is aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and is committed to sustainable development.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Director of Research, Dr. Arvind Verma.
