Udaipur. – Renowned city craftsman Chandraprakash Chittoda has created a unique and exquisite artwork of Goddess Durga on rice grains on the auspicious occasion of Navratri. In this creation, the eyes, nose, nose ring, and bindi of the Goddess have been artistically engraved on the tiny grains of rice, presenting an extraordinary masterpiece.
Marking the pious occasion of Vijayadashami, Chittoda has also prepared a miniature booklet symbolizing the triumph of truth and has painted the central form of Goddess Durga on a traditional writing board. Along with this, beautifully colored dandiya sticks have also been crafted for Garba celebrations, carrying the message of universal well-being.
Speaking about his art, Chittoda explained that rice is considered auspicious and is often used in rituals and worship. His intricate artwork is now on public display at the Chittoda Handicraft Art Centre, 328 University Road, Udaipur, for visitors to witness.
