Seminar on Chakras and Spiritual Anatomy Organised by Vigyan Samiti Udaipur

Udaipur,  Under the aegis of the Philosophy Wing of the Vigyan Samiti, Udaipur, a seminar was organised on Monday, 11 August 2025. Professor of Physics, Parasmal Agrawal, presented an introduction to the internationally acclaimed book Anatomy of the Spirit written by modern American author Dr. Caroline Myss. The work, which has been translated into 18 languages and sold in lakhs of copies, draws upon the ancient Indian knowledge of the seven chakras described in the 10th century.

Reviewing the book, Media In-charge Professor Vimal Sharma stated that Anatomy of the Spirit explains the relationship between physical illnesses and spiritual or emotional health. It elaborates how one’s beliefs and attitudes influence various parts of the body. According to Myss, illness is often an indication of deep spiritual or emotional imbalance, and overcoming such imbalances is essential for true healing.

Dr. Manish Jain presented his analysis on the topic “Astronomy in Jain Scriptures.” Other eminent scholars including Dr. K. L. Kothari, Dr. Prem Suman Jain, and Shri Ashok Jetawat also shared their views during the seminar.
