Udaipur, Ahead of the festive season, a delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district officials, led by District President Gajpal Singh Rathore, MLA Phool Singh Meena, and State Convener of the Cooperative Cell Pramod Samar, met the officials of the Urban Development Authority (UDA), including Commissioner Rahul Jain, Secretary Hemendra Nagar, and Tehsildar Abhinav Sharma.
The delegation apprised the officials of the difficulties and financial losses being faced by shopkeepers due to the ongoing sealing operations at RK Chouraha. The BJP leaders requested that traders whose goods might get damaged be allowed to remove their items immediately.
Taking prompt action, the Commissioner directed that the goods be removed under administrative supervision and also instructed that the de-sealing process for the remaining shops be initiated.
A mutual understanding was reached between the BJP representatives, UDA officials, landowners, and traders to reopen the shops soon, while the process for road widening and land conversion has also been initiated.
The delegation included District General Secretaries Devilal Salvi and Pankaj Borana, District Ministers Ashok Sharma and Tushar Mehta, Girish Sharma, Bhuwana Mandal President Mukesh Joshi, Yuva Morcha members Surendra Singh, Hitesh Prajapat, former Sukhadia University President Himanshu Bagdi, Suresh Gayari, and landowners Kamal Dangi, Bhagwan Puri, Mahendra Puri, and Ankit Kumawat among others.
