#### Collector Namit Mehta Conducts City Round to Review Diwali Preparations in Udaipur

Udaipur: Ahead of the Diwali festival, District Collector Namit Mehta conducted an extensive city round to review the electrical decoration and illumination work being carried out across key areas of the city. The inspection aimed to ensure that all preparations for the festival of lights are completed on time, enhancing the festive spirit across Udaipur.

During his visit, the Collector inspected the UDA Pulia, Fatehpura, and Pula areas, where large-scale lighting and decoration activities are in progress under the Udaipur Development Authority (UDA). He directed officials to complete all decoration-related works by Saturday, ensuring that the city presents a bright, welcoming look for residents and visitors during Diwali.

Accompanying the Collector during the inspection were UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain, Additional Chief Engineer Sanjeev Sharma, Superintending Engineer Anit Mathur, and other senior officials. The team closely examined the ongoing works and discussed ways to enhance the visual appeal and safety of decorative lighting installations.

This city-wide inspection reflects the administration’s commitment to making Udaipur vibrant, organized, and festive-ready. The coordinated efforts between the district administration and UDA aim to make this year’s Diwali celebration more beautiful and memorable for all citizens.
