Janjati Ayukt Meena distributed 'Crop Amrit' to farmers

Janjati Ayukt Meena distributed 'Crop Amrit' to farmers to promote organic farming in Jhadol.

Udaipur, 27th July. Janjati Ayukt (Tribal Commissioner) Tarachand Meena has initiated a unique campaign in the Jhadol region with the aim of providing modern irrigation facilities to traditional farmers. During an event organized jointly by the Information and Technology Department, ISTART, and EF Polymer under the Rajasthan government, Meena distributed packets of 'Crop Amrit' to 400 farmers in Jhadol. He urged the farmers to use these packets to enhance their crop yields through organic farming practices.

While distributing the 'Crop Amrit' packets to farmers, Janjati Ayukt Meena stated that the use of chemical fertilizers depletes the fertility of the soil, leading to a decline in crop productivity over time. He emphasized that every farmer must adopt organic farming practices as they are derived from our traditional knowledge and help protect human life from various diseases.

The Campaign's Focus:
Janjati Ayukt Meena explained that due to traditional farming practices in the tribal region, farmers use various chemical fertilizers and pesticides, which harm the environment and human health. To address this issue, the campaign was launched in the Jhadol belt, aiming to encourage farmers to adopt organic farming practices. EF Polymer, a renowned company that has won the Rajiv Gandhi Innovation Award, is leading this initiative, which is part of the Rajasthan government's ISTART program.

The Bio-Product: Crop Amrit
Meena highlighted that the campaign aims to promote bio-products and is encouraging a new agricultural product called 'Crop Amrit.' This product aids in water retention in plants, enhances plant growth, and boosts crop yields for farmers. By providing essential nutrients to plants naturally, Crop Amrit reduces the need for harmful chemicals, thus contributing to a better environment and improved human health. The initiative by EF Polymer can bring positive transformations to agriculture in the Jhadol belt.

During the program, officials from EF Polymer, including Ankit Jain and Gaurav Jain, briefed Janjati Ayukt Meena about the unique features of 'Crop Amrit' and its potential to bring positive changes in crop yields for farmers in the tribal region.
