In an effort to mold responsible citizens for the nation and their families, several universities across the country have initiated two-month internships for their students with social service organizations.
In line with this initiative, Shine India Foundation, a leading social organization in the Hadoti region, has been offering free internships for the past six years in collaboration with major universities across the country. Over 150 students have completed their internships through the foundation.
The two-month internship course includes training in personality development, time management, creating roadmaps for awareness campaigns, interpersonal and communication skills, and confidence-building activities that inspire youth to take on new challenges with enthusiasm.
As part of the internship, a group of students organized an awareness camp on eye, organ, and body donation at Kishore Sagar Lake on Sunday. During the morning walk session, 30 citizens pledged to donate their eyes.
Internship coordinator Dr. Sangeeta Gaur stated that the primary goal of the internship is to instill social responsibility among the youth. Through its dedicated efforts, Shine India Foundation has earned national and even international recognition in a short span.
Owing to the organization's growing success, impact, and commitment to social awareness, many colleges from across the country are now sending their students to Kota to intern with Shine India Foundation.
