Maruti Suzuki Expands Its Service Network to 5,500 Touchpoints

Udaipur: Reinforcing its commitment to providing a hassle-free and comfortable car ownership experience, Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced the inauguration of its 5,500th service touchpoint in India. Supported by its dealer partners, this milestone facility was inaugurated in Udaipur, Rajasthan, by Ram Suresh Akela, Executive Officer – Service, and Yasuhiro Kawai from Maruti Suzuki.

With the addition of this new workshop in Udaipur, the number of service bays in Maruti Suzuki’s network has reached approximately 40,000, giving it the capacity to service over 30 million customer vehicles annually. In the financial year 2024–25 alone, the company serviced more than 27 million vehicles — the highest ever in a single fiscal year.

Dedicating the new service touchpoint to customers, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki, stated,

“When buying a new car, one of the key factors for most customers is the convenience and proximity of a reliable workshop that offers genuine services at affordable prices, giving them complete peace of mind. To address this need, we have, with the support of our dealer partners, established 5,500 service touchpoints across 2,764 towns and cities.”

He further added,

“In FY 2024–25, we added 460 new service touchpoints — more than one every day. We plan to continue this expansion with a target of adding 500 more service touchpoints this financial year, of which 91 have already been established.”
