Udaipur : A felicitation ceremony was organised jointly by Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU) and Dainik Bhaskar on Wednesday at Ashoka Green, Shobhagpura, to honour academic achievers. Students who scored 80% or more in CBSE and RBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations were felicitated on the occasion.
The event was graced by the presence of Tribal Area Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Girwa SDM IAS Sonika Kumari, IAS trainee Srishti Dabas, SPSU Director of Admissions Sanjeeva, and Dainik Bhaskar Unit Head Prashant Kukreti. Guests presented mementoes and appreciation certificates to the meritorious students.
Sanjeeva, Director of Admissions at SPSU, advised students to choose subjects that align with their interests, aptitude, and capabilities. He highlighted that SPSU offers industry-driven programs, expert mentorship, and a global perspective to ensure quality education.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. During a Q&A session, IAS trainee Srishti Dabas addressed students' queries and encouraged them to maintain a balanced approach to academics, health, and creative activities.
SDM Sonika Kumari emphasised the importance of moral values, discipline, and health alongside education. She urged students to choose careers based on their interests and strengths rather than societal pressure.

The event proved to be a moment of pride for both students and their parents, who beamed with joy as their children's achievements were celebrated.
