To promote environmental protection, Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU) had launched electric rickshaws on campus, spending lakhs of rupees. Today, these rickshaws lie abandoned like junk behind the university auditorium. This raises a serious question—who is responsible for this?
What was once showcased through photographs sent to the government as a “pollution-free campus” has now returned to its original polluted state. This is a clear case of government fund misuse. Despite prior requests to revive these e-rickshaws, the condition remains unchanged.
The appeal is to:
Reintroduce the rickshaws into daily use
Restore the campus to a clean and smoke-free environment
Take strict action against those responsible for their neglect
Ensure that public money is not wasted
