Meeting on Panch Gaurav Action Plan

A key meeting regarding the detailed action plan under the Panch Gaurav Yojana was held on Friday evening at the Udaipur Collectorate, chaired by District Collector Namit Mehta. Joint Director (Statistics) and Nodal Officer Puneet Sharma outlined the plan focusing on five areas: Fatehsagar and Pichola Lakes as tourist destinations, marble and granite as signature products, swimming as a sport, Mahua as a local species, and custard apple as a key crop. Collector Mehta directed beautification of lakes, training for artisans, development of Panch Gaurav Park and Circle, promotion of custard apple farming, and setup of processing units. Officials from UDA, tourism, forest, industries, sports, and Rajeevika attended.
