Udaipur – Shayrana Udaipur, a literary and musical forum that has been organizing free monthly gatherings for over 15 years, hosted a special Sneh Milan program at the Aishwarya College auditorium, captivating the audience with a blend of poetry, ghazals, and film songs. The event saw enthusiastic participation from poets and artists hailing from Kherwara, Kota, Nathdwara, Rajsamand, and Udaipur.
Presided over by Aishwarya College Director Seema Singh, the event welcomed several esteemed guests including Retired R.S. Dinesh Kothari, former Vice-Chancellor Umashankar Sharma, Additional SP Brijendra Soni, TAD Additional Commissioner Gitesh Malviya, and chief guest Retired District and Sessions Judge P.S. Singh Chauhan.
The evening began with an invocation and the soulful song "Meri Aawaz Hi Pehchaan Hai", performed by Kshan Prabha Paliwal from Nathdwara, moving the audience with her voice.
Additional SP Brijendra Soni performed the classic Bollywood song "Tum Hi Toh Laye Ho Mere Jeevan Mein Bahaar", impressing listeners with his hidden talent. Advocate Harish Paliwal, Juvenile Justice Board Legal Aid Member, presented the song "Suhani Chandni Raatein" and recited heartfelt couplets that touched on shared human emotions and pain.
Poet Bharat Kumar Meena from Kherwara recited verses of Veer Ras and Shringar, while Dr. Pradeep Kumawat shared a reflective poem on the inner self. Ghazal artists Devendra Hiran and Mukesh Vaishnav enchanted the audience with timeless renditions from Bazaar and Jagjit Singh’s ghazals.

Lalit Kothari, who presented a ghazal from the film Aitbaar.
Manisha Badal and Jyotsna Jain, who sang melodious film songs.
Students from City Pride Public School, who performed a musical tribute to Maharana Pratap.
Attendees were honored with traditional “Uparna”. Among the distinguished guests were retired and serving administrative officers, advocates like Gagan Sanadhya, Manzoor Hussain Sheikh, Pradeep Paneri, Dr. Suman Achaliya, Nishit Chaplot, Anil Mathur, Mohan Soni, Utpal Singh Chauhan (Kota), C.P. Gandharv, Amit Yadav, and Councillor Mukesh Sharma.
The program was smoothly conducted by Dr. Jyotsna Jain and Manoj Anchaliya. The evening concluded with a thunderous applause following Mohan Soni’s rendition of the classic "Man Tarpat Hari Darshan Ko Aaj" from Baiju Bawra.
Founder Manoj Geetankar shared insights about the group’s journey and confirmed that Shayrana Udaipur organizes such free literary-musical evenings on the last Sunday of every month at Aishwarya College (near RTO, Udaipur).
