Two-Day 24-Hour Hoop-A-Thon Celebration Concludes

Udaipur: A two-day, 24-hour event of Hoop-A-Thon 2.0, organized by Late As Hoop and PFC Education, concluded today at Celebration Mall on Bhuvana Marg.

The founder of Hooper, Meenakshi Bhairavani, mentioned that over 100 children and adults participated in these two days. Among them, 45 children hooped continuously for 24 hours to Rajasthani, Garba, and Bollywood songs while dancing and spinning the hula hoop. The spectators cheered them on enthusiastically, boosting their morale. Hiren Jotwani hooped continuously for 16 hours. He mentioned that this is the second event organized by the center. Previously, they had organized a similar event in December.

Meenakshi Bhairavani stated that children who hooped for 24 hours included Heer C. Vyas, Jenika Bhandari, Yashika Pitti, Deepika Lodhi, Hitarth Raj, Anaya Asif Hirani, Kavya Kasturi, Amaltullah Sanwad, Arya Joshi, and Rayansh Kasturi, along with 45 other children at the Celebration Mall. Meenakshi Bhairavani also participated in the hula hooping program, boosting the enthusiasm of the children.

Meenakshi Bhairavani explained that a specially designed hula hoop is worn around the waist by the children. Then, they stand with their right foot forward and balance the hoop. With one hand, they spin the hoop with full force. Then, they continuously spin the hoop according to their body's hula hooping, pressing it against their abdomen. Hula hooping can also be done with a ring worn around the waist, hand, and neck.
