Inauguration of Kamal Jal Mandir

Udaipur,  The Kamal Jal Mandir, located at Majhi Ki Sarai near Thokar Chauraha, was inaugurated today in a grand ceremony. The temple has been constructed to raise awareness about water conservation and convey the message of combining religion with environmental service. It has been built in the loving memory of Late Mata Shri Kamla Devi Vaktavarmal Nahar and Late Ranjana Nahar (Lakadwaswala).

The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Jatin Gandhi, Assistant Commissioner of the Devasthan Department, who lauded the initiative as exemplary. Gandhi stated, “Efforts like Kamal Jal Mandir are not only milestones in environmental protection but also serve as a powerful medium to highlight the seriousness of the water crisis in society.”

The temple's significance was further emphasized by Kuldeep Nahar, President of the Oswal Mahasabha, who described it as an exemplary model for society. Dr. Rajashree Gandhi, National President of the Consumer Protection Organization, remarked, “This water temple is not just a structure; it is a source of inspiration, urging everyone to recognize the critical importance of water conservation.”

Vinod Pokharna, President of the Mahavir Swadhyay Mandal, also spoke, expressing that the temple would serve as a medium to increase awareness about the importance of water in the future.

During the ceremony, Acharya Gurudev Sambhavnath Ji highlighted the seriousness of the water crisis and urged everyone to take an oath for water conservation. He emphasized, “Every drop of water is precious. It is our duty to preserve it.”

The program began with the lighting of lamps and the welcoming of guests with garlands, turbans, and mementos. The entire event was coordinated by Praveen Nahar, President of the Mahavir Nav Yuvak Mandal, while Bhupesh Khimesra conducted the proceedings. Paras Khurdia expressed gratitude to all the guests at the end of the ceremony.

The primary purpose of Kamal Jal Mandir is to emphasize the importance of water conservation along with religious activities and to raise societal awareness. The temple sends the message that only through individual and collective efforts can water conservation be achieved.

Other prominent attendees included Chandras Singh Nahar, Shantilal Khurdia, Dhanraj Dhing, Roshan Lal Sancheti, Devendra Khimesra, and other members of the Mahavir Nav Yuvak Mandal, who made significant contributions to the event.
