####MP Dr. Rawat Resolves Over 20 Grievances on the Spot During Public Hearing

Udaipur: In a public hearing held at the MP office located in the Zila Parishad premises on Monday, Member of Parliament Dr. Mannalal Rawat addressed over 80 public and organizational grievances. More than 20 of these were resolved immediately through direct coordination with concerned officials, bringing immediate relief to several complainants.

Delegations from both urban and rural areas participated in the session. The majority of the grievances pertained to public issues, including matters of personal transfers and deputations. In several cases related to Railways and Roadways, Dr. Rawat held discussions with respective department officials to ensure swift redressal.

A significant issue raised during the hearing involved the deteriorating condition of the government secondary school located inside the Railway Training Centre near Sukhadia Circle. Umesh Shrimali, along with a delegation, informed the MP that the school, which has been operating under a tin shed for nearly six decades, has become unsafe during the monsoon season. Furthermore, a newly constructed railway guest house has blocked natural ventilation in the school premises. Although donors are ready to fund the construction of a new building and provide computers and other facilities, the lack of approval from Railway authorities is causing delays. Dr. Rawat assured immediate follow-up and has already spoken with railway officials to support the school administration. He also confirmed that he had visited the school personally and observed the students' plight.

A delegation from the Sallada Vikas Manch submitted a memorandum highlighting the urgent need for infrastructure development in the newly created Salumber district. The representatives emphasized the lack of railway connectivity and public transportation as major hurdles. They proposed that the Jaisamand Road railway station—located just 19 kilometers from Salumber—be developed as a key junction, as it would serve not only Salumber but also nearby villages like Bambora, Gudel, Gingla, Kharka, Karawali, Jagat, Jhar, and Adwas. They also pointed out that this station connects directly to Chawand, the third capital of Maharana Pratap, and the famous Jaisamand Lake. Upgrading the station would boost tourism and support archival activities in the region.

BJP leaders from Jaisamand, including Mandal General Secretary Reedsingh and Rural District Minister Meghsingh Sisodia, demanded the upgrade of the Javad branch post office to a sub-post office. Lokesh Parakh from Trade Association Ward 41 called for urgent repairs to a damaged water tank wall in Madadi Purohitan.

Other memorandums included requests for:

Blacktopping of roads in Umriyar Phala village near Salumber.

Approval for an Anganwadi center in Khejariya Kad, Badanga revenue village.

Retaining the newly formed Rethda Panchayat under Nayagaon Panchayat Samiti.

Better behavior by doctors toward public representatives at the Satellite Hospital, as flagged by BJP Senior Citizens Cell Convenor Dr. M.C. Mishra.

Timely Aadhaar services at Sector 5 Post Office.

Regulation of irregularities by e-Mitra operators.

Removal of illegal mini bus stands near the Collector’s residence.

Railway-Related Submissions:

Suresh Kumar Jain submitted a proposal to extend train 12987-12988 (Ajmer-Sealdah-Ajmer via Parasnath) up to Udaipur. He highlighted that the train remains idle for over 11 hours at Ajmer and could serve Jain pilgrims from Udaipur if extended.

Suggestions were also made to extend:

22927-22928 Lok Shakti Express (currently idle for 16+ hours in Ahmedabad) to Udaipur, benefiting citizens of Mewar and Bagar regions.

12901-12902 Gujarat Mail Express, which stays at Ahmedabad for 17 hours, to Udaipur—particularly aiding Udaipur traders conducting business in Mumbai.

The hearing concluded with Dr. Rawat assuring that all unresolved matters would be followed up with the respective departments and ministries, underscoring his commitment to the region's holistic development.
