Atru, Baran, Rajasthan: A free camp for Divyangjans (differently-abled individuals) was organized at Dhol Talai Sports Ground in Atru on February 14, 2025, under the 'Sashakt Baran Pragati Ko Shakti' campaign by the district administration and the Mangal Seva program by Adani Foundation.
During the event, Mr. Shubham Nagar, Assistant Director of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, informed that various schemes such as the Chief Minister's Specially-abled Self-employment Scheme, Specially-abled Happy Marriage Scheme, Specially-abled Joint Assistance Grant Scheme, Specially-abled Palanhar Scheme, and Social Security Pension Scheme were implemented under which 200 Divyangjans were benefitted.
Mr. Pramod Saxena, Head of Adani Power Plant, shared that the Adani Group is running various programs under its social responsibility initiatives, benefiting millions of families across the country.
Tehsildar of Atru, Mr. Manzoor Ali Diwan, encouraged all specially-abled individuals to avail the benefits of the camp.
Mr. Gopal Singh Devda, CSR Head of Adani Foundation, explained that the Mangal Seva Scheme, under the leadership of Dr. Preeti Adani, Chairperson of Adani Foundation, was launched to connect Divyangjans living in different states of the country with the mainstream, in collaboration with the government. The program includes awareness campaigns and activities to link selected Divyangjans with self-employment.
On this occasion, Dr. Keshav Nagar, Chief Medical Officer of the Block, highlighted the schemes run by the Health Department for Divyangjans and provided medical services.
Mr. Rahul Bairwa, Block Development Officer of Atru, explained the social schemes run by the government.
Adani Foundation Project Officers, Soumya and Deepak Malviya, shared that over 200 Divyangjans from the Atru region were benefitted by various government schemes during the event.
Mr. Ramcharan Chaudhary, Khushwant Paliwal, Waseem Akram, and Vivek Sharma from Adani Foundation assisted in registration and spreading awareness among the Divyangjans.
