 Udaipur, Union Home Minister Amit Shah outlined the ambitious vision of achieving a developed and self-reliant India by the centenary year of independence in 2047. Speaking at a gathering in Balicha, Shah commended the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and highlighted the significant strides made by the government in various sectors, including poverty alleviation, economic growth, and national security.


Shah praised the Modi government's ten-year tenure, describing it as an era of rapid development and making India a global economic powerhouse. He emphasized the achievements such as the strengthening of the economy, securing the nation's borders, and elevating India's global stature. Shah reiterated Prime Minister Modi's dream of making India the world's leading economy by 2047, the 100th year of independence.

Acknowledging the newly-formed government in Rajasthan led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Shah applauded their prompt fulfillment of promises made in the election manifesto. The central minister highlighted initiatives such as providing financial assistance to farmers, bonus on MSP for wheat, and the formation of special task forces to address issues like exam malpractice and atrocities against women.


Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, in his speech, expressed gratitude for the support received from the central government in resolving long-standing water issues and credited the BJP-led government for its commitment to the development of Rajasthan.

The gathering included addresses by Cabinet Ministers Jabbarsingh Kharrara, Babulal Kharadi, State Minister Hemant Meena, and local MPs and MLAs. The leaders praised the collaborative efforts between the central and state governments, emphasizing the commitment to realizing the vision of a developed Rajasthan aligned with the overall progress of India.

Before concluding the event, both Amit Shah and Bhajan Lal Sharma were given an official welcome upon their arrival at Dabok Airport. The news of the ambitious vision for India's future and the acknowledgment of the state government's efforts resonated with the audience, signaling a shared commitment to building a prosperous and self-reliant nation.
