Neerja Modi School Carnival Draws Crowds, Today Marks the Final Day

Udaipur: Saturday saw the commencement of the carnival filled with knowledge enhancement, exciting activities, and fun for children. The inauguration ceremony of the carnival was graced by distinguished personalities including Prof. Ranjeet Singh Sojatiya, founder of Sojatiya Group, District Education Officer Mr. Samssa Veerendra Yadav, Dr. Ashok Acharya from Singhania University, Manish Jain from the Department of Science and Technology, Prof. S.R. Maloo from Pacific University, Shantanu Vijayvargiya, Head of Allen Career Institute, and Mrs. Reena Sojatiya, Secretary of Sojatiya Charitable Trust, among others.


In the Botany section of the carnival, children learned about the photosynthesis process and engaged in planting in small clay pots. In the Zoology section, children were amazed to see various foreign animals such as African Grey, Java Finch, French Bulldog, Persian Cat, Golden Finch, Zebra Finch, Angelfish, etc., and enjoyed activities like the 'Dragonfly' game. Astronomy enthusiasts learned about planets, constellations, aliens, nebulae, and enjoyed games like 'Beat the Buzz,' 'Feed the Alien,' 'Create Your Constellation.' Similarly, in the Anthropology department, the evolution from ancient humans to modern humans was explained, while children enthusiastically participated in the 'Pebble Painting' activity.

The Geomorphology section showcased vivid forms of nature like forests, volcanoes, and caves, sparking curiosity among children. Activities were organized in each section according to the curiosity and interest of the children, who participated with full enthusiasm. Children showcased their intellect, wisdom, and skills in quiz competitions, science model competitions, and science slide competitions.

The presence of parents and children at the carnival was marked by joy and enthusiasm. Notably, a foreign tourist, Crystal Marin from Belgium, also participated in the carnival and praised the event, stating that it was her first experience witnessing such a carnival where education, career, and entertainment were given equal importance.

The school chairman, Dr. Mahendra Sojatiya, emphasized that it's not necessary for the participating children to belong to Neerja Modi School; the carnival aims to benefit all children. He further stated that efforts will always be made to organize such carnivals from time to time to ensure that more and more children can benefit from them.

Director Sakshi Sojatiya highlighted the importance of creative skills alongside academics for children in today's era. She mentioned that this year's carnival is the best carnival in terms of scientific research and scientific curiosity.

Principal Ashish Vijayvargiya expressed gratitude to the parents and children participating in the carnival and informed that the carnival will continue on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Those who missed the opportunity to benefit from it can join the carnival on Sunday and enjoy its offerings.
