Jaisalmer, The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight Camp, held in Balad Gram Panchayat under the Rajasthan Government's initiative, proved to be a blessing for farmers and landholders. Long-standing revenue issues, including joint land disputes, were amicably resolved, promoting harmony among families. A heartfelt application from Budhram, son of Ratna Ram Jat of village Roopsar, led to corrections in the revenue records and proper division of land among four co-holders, including Barakat Khan and Amre Khan.
In another case, complaints regarding public pathways were resolved instantly by Sub-Divisional Officer Mahesh Chandra Maan, who dispatched the revenue team on-site. Farmers were issued Jamabandi copies on the spot, bringing visible joy to their faces.
On this occasion, the SDO also planted a sapling in the Panchayat campus and encouraged plantation during the monsoon. The swift redressal of issues strengthened public trust in the administration and was met with heartfelt gratitude.
