#### Tejaswini Gautam Appointed New SP of Kota City

Kota,  IPS officer Tejaswini Gautam, a law graduate and recipient of the DGP Disc for excellence in Law & Order, has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Kota City, replacing Amrita Duhan, who has been transferred to Sri Ganganagar as SP.

Tejaswini Gautam, recognized as Rajasthan’s only “Lady Singham,” previously served as DCP of Women Safety and Public Relations in Jaipur, and also as DCP Jaipur East, where her leadership in women’s security and public engagement initiatives earned wide appreciation.

During her Jaipur tenure, Gautam launched notable initiatives such as the ‘Women Safety Patrol’, awareness campaigns, and the ‘Mahila Mitra’ program in police stations to combat crimes against women. Her impactful policing style was even commended by the U.S. Embassy.

Her appointment has sparked renewed hope among citizens regarding enhanced law enforcement and women’s safety in Kota. She is expected to take charge in the city soon.
