Resolution, Service, and Respect: Grand Celebration of Nursing Day at Geetanjali

The International Nursing Day was celebrated with grandeur at Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital in the Narmada Devi Agarwal Auditorium. The chief guest of the event was the founder of Geetanjali, Mr. J.P. Agarwal, while Vice Chancellor Dr. Rakesh Vyas inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Beginning with a Ganesh Vandana, the program witnessed vibrant performances by the staff and students of Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital. A powerful skit presented by the nurses beautifully depicted how one life holds immense value in a nurse's journey, earning thunderous applause from the audience.

Chairman of Geetanjali Group, Mr. J.P. Agarwal, in his address, emphasized that discipline, determination, and hard work are essential for a successful life. He also delivered an insightful message on the age-old saying "The greatest wealth is good health." He added that God gifts talent to everyone—some remain hidden, while others shine. He encouraged all to strive for excellence and reach greater heights.

Dr. Rajeev Pandya, HR Manager, praised the nurses for enduring hardships without letting it show on their faces. He paid poetic tribute to nurses around the world through a heartfelt poem.

Dr. Pandya also highlighted how GMCH continuously endeavors to empower its nursing staff by providing essential resources and training. A special documentary presented by the Human Resource Business Partnership (HRBP) department showcased how the nursing team is being equipped with new technologies and skills.

The event also featured colorful cultural performances by the nursing staff, with enchanting dance acts as the main attraction. The celebration witnessed the presence of GMCH's senior officials including CEO Rishi Kapoor, CFO Roshan Jain, CNO Vijendra Singh Rathore, Geetanjali University Registrar Mayur Rawal, along with HODs, doctors, nursing staff, and a large number of students.

The program was jointly anchored by Dr. Rajeev Pandya and Mrs. Radhika.
