MPUAT :One-Year Agriculture Input Supplier Certificate Program Celebration

Udaipur: The Department of Entomology at Rajasthan Agricultural University (Maharana Pratap Agriculture and Technology University, Udaipur) successfully concluded its one-year Agriculture Input Supplier Certificate Program on May 4, 2024.

During this program, certificates were distributed to 48 candidates. It's noteworthy that through this certification, candidates can obtain a license from the state government's Department of Agriculture for the supply of inputs such as fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, agricultural chemicals, pesticides, and agricultural machinery.

The chief guest of the program, Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajeet Kumar Karnataka, addressed the candidates, elaborating extensively on the appropriate use of pesticides and biological control methods. He also encouraged candidates to contribute to farmers and agricultural services.

During the event, Dr. Lokesh Gupta, Founder of Rajasthan Agricultural University, Dr. Ravindra Verma, Program Coordinator, and Dr. S. Ramesh Babu, Head of the Department of Entomology, along with Dr. M.K. Mahla, University Welfare Officer, enlightened the candidates with agricultural-related information.

The stage management during the celebration was led by Dr. Urmila Chaudhary (Technical Assistant). Research scholars in Entomology, Dr. Birendra Singh, Amit Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Neha Dudi, and others were also present.
