Harmony Through Dialogue Reduces Stress, Says Mahesh Seva Sansthan

Udaipur,  A strong sense of familial and social bonding fosters a peaceful and fulfilling lifestyle. The more an individual cultivates positivity, communication, and harmony within the family, the more content and stress-free the entire household becomes. These same values—positivity, dialogue, coordination, and active participation—are equally essential for a meaningful social life.

These thoughts were shared during a special social lecture organised by Mahesh Seva Sansthan, Chitrakoot Nagar, on the occasion of Doctors’ Day and CA Day, held on Tuesday evening at the auditorium of Mahesh Public School.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Pankaj Somani, a gold medalist neurosurgeon from RNT Medical College, delivered an inspiring address on the topic “How to Find Peace in a Life Full of Stress and Despair.” He noted that today’s fast-paced lifestyle, lack of social interaction, rising expectations, and loneliness have become leading causes of stress, deeply affecting both mental and physical health.

Dr. Somani suggested adopting daily practices like self-reflection, time management, mindfulness, yoga, social involvement, and positive thinking to combat stress. He emphasised that while doctors play a crucial role in mental well-being, the collective energy, empathy, and warmth of society are equally vital. His message was clear: small positive changes in our daily lives can lead to lasting peace, hope, and emotional balance.

CA and legal expert Vimal Poonamia also addressed the gathering with a practical talk on “Wills and Family Settlements.” He stressed the importance of drafting wills in a timely manner and resolving family matters through mutual understanding. He urged families to attempt reconciliation internally before seeking legal remedies, as court proceedings not only prolong resolution but also strain relationships. He cited a survey which indicated that, even if no new cases were filed starting today, it would still take over 300 years to resolve the backlog of cases in Indian courts. He warned that legal battles often escalate familial bitterness.

The event was presided over by Rajesh Rathi, President of the Sansthan. A total of 29 doctors and 45 chartered accountants were honoured with appreciation certificates for their service.

Key office bearers present included Vice Presidents Jitendra Inani and Lakshmikant Moondra, Joint Secretary Sanjay Maliwal, Joint Treasurer Bhagwatilal Dhupad, and prominent members such as Anil Dakhera, Satyanarayan Gupta, Rakesh Kabra, Narendra Lawati, Dwarka Prasad Somani, and others. Secretary Lalit Prasad Maheshwari extended a vote of thanks, while Treasurer Hitesh Bhadada conducted the proceedings.
