Batch of ’99 Fulfills Narayan Sir’s Dream with a Modern Library in Dhar

Udaipur – On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, the 1999 alumni batch of Alok School, Fatehpura, paid a heartfelt tribute to their late Principal Narayan Lal Sharma by realizing one of his long-cherished dreams — the inauguration of a state-of-the-art library in Dhar (Udaipur) at the Government Senior Secondary School.

The newly established library stands as a living symbol of their teacher’s dedication to knowledge and education. During the inaugural ceremony, alumni members including Pankaj Sharma, Ambalal Sahu, Neeta Parihar Panwar, Chetan Khandelwal, Krishnakant Agrawal, Varun Mehta, Swetal Madawat, Deepak Mehta, Vijay Sahu and others presented the school with around 1500 valuable books, reading racks, and a 43-inch smart television. Furthermore, in a gesture of environmental commitment, 150 saplings were also distributed within the school campus.

The inspiring ceremony was graced by dignitaries such as former MP Arjun Lal Meena, Pramod Samar, City BJP President Gajpal Singh Rathore, former principal of Alok Fatehpura Vijay Singh Sankhla, and Dr. Hemant Dhabhai.

The program commenced with a tree plantation by the guests, followed by enchanting cultural performances by the school students. Dr. Satyanarayan Suthar, the Principal of the host school, presided over the event, which was also attended by the entire teaching staff and student body. The event was beautifully anchored by Rekha John.

This exemplary initiative by the alumni highlights the essence of the Guru-Shishya tradition and stands as a stellar example of social responsibility. Their sincere affection and contribution to the memory of Narayan Lal Sharma Sir are deeply commendable and serve as an inspiration to all.

Narayan Sir was not just a principal, but a mentor, motivator, and like a family member to every student. His dedication, vision, and unwavering support to the school and its students continue to inspire generations. Even years after students passed out, he remained in touch, calling regularly to check on their well-being — a rare and noble trait in today’s world.

His sweet voice, uplifting words, and ever-helpful nature will forever live in the hearts of his students. His teachings and values shall never be forgotten.
