Dr. Sanjeev Tank Honored with ‘National Consumer Pride Award’

Udaipur: Dr. Sanjeev Tank, Additional Director of Maharana Bhupal Hospital, Udaipur, has been honored with the “National Consumer Pride Award” by the Consumer Protection Organization, New Delhi.

The award was presented to him in recognition of his innovations, humanitarian sensitivity, dedicated service, effective leadership, and visionary approach in the field of healthcare. Under his leadership, Maharana Bhupal Hospital has achieved new heights and has emerged as a source of inspiration in the health sector across the Udaipur division.

During the critical period of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Tank arranged over 2000 additional beds and ensured the installation of an oxygen plant within the hospital premises with support from the MLA fund and the government, addressing the severe oxygen shortage.

To ensure the green security of the oxygen plant, around 200 saplings will be planted under the leadership of Dr. Rajshree Gandhi, National President of the Consumer Protection Organization. The plantation will be maintained by RNT Medical College.

Dr. Tank’s contribution goes beyond administration; as a teacher, mentor, and humanitarian, he has positively impacted thousands of lives. His efforts have brought a commendable blend of quality and empathy to medical services.

The award ceremony was graced by several senior officials of the Consumer Protection Organization, including District President Praveen Nahar, State Vice President Paras Khurdiya, District Coordinator Suresh Paliwal, State Environmental Head Hemant Jha, District Vice President Sanjeev Sharma, District Organization Minister Bhupesh Khamesra, and District Secretary Ramnath Singh Chauhan. All presented Dr. Tank with a shawl, coconut, and memento, expressing their heartfelt appreciation for his contributions.
