Rotary Elite Undertakes Transformational Initiative at Government School"

Udaipur: The Rotary Club Elite of Udaipur has initiated significant developmental work at the Government Senior Secondary School in Amberi, known for its Jaggery Meadows. This commendable endeavor has earned praise from the club officials, notably during the inauguration ceremony led by District Governor Dr. Nirmal Kunawat.

Dr. Kunawat lauded the club's efforts in bringing about remarkable improvements to the school premises, expressing confidence in the resources donated by the club being extremely beneficial to the students.

Club President Vikas Shrimali revealed that Rotary Club Elite has adopted the school for two years and is overseeing planned renovations. So far, the club has completed full repairs and plastering of walls in both school buildings and repainted windows and other areas. Additionally, the floors of classrooms have been renovated.

Club Secretary Ajay Lodha provided details of the contributions, which include a laptop for computer sciences, ten computer systems, a projector with a screen, and furniture. Electrical work has also been carried out, ensuring proper lighting with tube lights and other fixtures. All these activities have been made possible through financial support from philanthropists, including Chetan Naik from CDN Software Solutions, Lalit Hemanani from Abu Dhabi, Tarun Kumar Kalra from Singapore, and club member Hitesh Gandhi.

During the program, former President and current co-District Governor Kamlesh Talesara also donated furniture for one classroom.

The school principal expressed gratitude to the club for all the work done and pledged to maintain and utilize the resources for the students' best interests. The event saw a large turnout of club members, school staff, and students. Incoming President Akshay Jain promised to continue developmental activities at the school in the coming year.
