Special Worship by Shri Ji Mewar on Maharana Pratap's 485th Birth Anniversary

Udaipur, The 485th birth anniversary of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap will be observed with reverence, devotion, and dignity on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Maharana Pratap Memorial, Moti Magri, under the auspices of the Maharana Pratap Smarak Samiti.

Committee Secretary Satish Kumar Sharma informed that the Committee President and descendant of Maharana Pratap, Shri Ji Huzoor Sahib Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, will offer special worship before the equestrian statue of Maharana Pratap on Thursday morning, accompanied by Vedic chanting by learned priests. On this occasion, a grand offering of a 485-kilogram laddu will be made to honor the eternal legacy of the national hero.

While reviewing the preparations, Dr. Mewar directed that on May 29, from 8 AM to 6 PM, all devotees visiting the Pratap Memorial at Moti Magri be granted free entry as a mark of respect on this solemn occasion.

To ensure smooth conduct of the rituals and arrangements, public entry to the memorial will be restricted from 1 PM today (May 28) until 8 AM on May 29. This temporary restriction is aimed at maintaining order and the sanctity of the celebration.
