Senior Citizens Appointed as Commissioners for Mehta Hindustan Scout Scheme

Udaipur, May 5th - Mr. Krishna Kunal, Secretary (School Education) and Chief Commissioner of Hindustan Scout and Guide, along with Mr. Narendra Odiya, Principal Secretary, have appointed Mr. Gopal Lal Mehta (Menaria), a physical education teacher in the Mavli block, as the Commissioner (Public Relations) for the Udaipur regional headquarters of the Hindustan Scout and Guide. Additionally, Mr. Madan Lal Verma, a teacher in Vallabhnagar block, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Udaipur regional headquarters, and Mr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, a physical education teacher in the Amet (Rajsamand) block, has been appointed as the Joint Secretary of the regional headquarters. Appointment letters were issued with the signatures of both appointees.

Mr. Mehta, currently serving as the District Chief Commissioner of Hindustan Scout and Guide in the Rowpraw Gondoli (Sangwa) area of Udaipur district, has been appointed for a period of two years based on his scouting experience, three decades of sports experience, journalism, public relations, and organizational commitment. Mr. Verma has been serving as a teacher in Government Senior Secondary School, Tara Vatav, and as the District Secretary of Hindustan Scout and Guide for the past four years. Mr. Sharma has been working as a physical education teacher in the Delana Government Higher Secondary School in the Amet block and as the District Secretary of Hindustan Scout in Rajsamand district for the past three years.

State Secretary Narendra Aditya informed that all three teachers are currently undergoing a seven-day regional-level Scout Master and Guide Captain training camp at Mahavir Jain Vidyalaya, Keer, where they are receiving training along with 200 other participants. Upon completion, they will assume their respective responsibilities in their districts to efficiently manage the activities of the Hindustan Scout and Guide organization. All participants warmly welcomed and congratulated the newly appointed regional officers with Scout claps. State Secretary Narendra Aditya mentioned that based on their past responsibilities and excellent work in their respective districts, these three teachers have been entrusted with the responsibility of the entire region to elevate the organization's activities to new heights. The State Executive had previously recommended the promotion of all three teachers to the Chief Secretary, School Education, and Chief Commissioner, which was approved, leading to their appointments.
