Udaipur: The 30-day Metro Dreamland Fair, organized by Jodhana Publicity, commenced at Fateh School Grounds on Saturday. The fair will run until June 2, 2024. Many city residents thronged to the fair on the very first day. Dinesh Gaud of Jodhana Publicity mentioned that an official lamp lighting ceremony will be held on Sunday. The fair witnessed a significant influx of visitors, particularly impressed by the 41-feet scrap-built statue of Lord Shiva, a 33-feet scrap-made dinosaur, and the entry gate resembling a palace.

Due to Sunday being a holiday, the fair is expected to attract a large number of visitors, prompting special arrangements to be made. Dinesh Gaud also stated that artisans from all over India have brought their handcrafted products to the fair. It's a golden opportunity for visitors to purchase renowned handicrafts from various parts of the country at very reasonable prices. Visitors can enjoy a vast range of swings, entertainment, shopping zones, and food courts at this shopping extravaganza.

Along with shopping, families can indulge in entertainment at the fair. Various cuisines are available at the food court, offering a wide array of delicacies. Traders from Rajasthan and many other states will showcase their special products at the fair. In addition to discounts, many attractive schemes will be launched for the benefit of the public. Stalls offering furniture, kitchenware, artificial jewelry, perfumes, crockery, fashion items, fitness equipment, computers, shoes, carpets, handloom products, terracotta decorative items, festival decorations, and more are set up. Useful items are available at reasonable prices. The fair is becoming a center of attraction for people of all ages, with thrilling rides like the double-disc swing, water boat, Columbus, break dance, and many other exciting swings for children and adults alike. Additionally, the food zone will serve various delicious dishes, including South Indian, Chinese fast food, chaat, snacks, and tea and coffee.
