Udaipur Tales Unveils its 5th Edition: A Global Celebration of Storytelling

Udaipur, Udaipur Tales, the International Storytelling Festival, kicks off its highly anticipated 5th edition from 12th to 14th January 2024 at the scenic Park Exotica Resort in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The festival, known for its success in providing a global platform for storytellers, promises a three-day extravaganza featuring artists, musicians, and storytellers from diverse genres, both national and international.

*Renowned Storytellers and Artists Take Center Stage:*
The festival boasts an impressive lineup of storytellers, including Mita Vashisht, a prolific theatre artist and film & TV actor; Rebecca Lemaire, a British-Belgian storyteller from Spain; Gautam Agarwal, a director & film actor with a penchant for mystical, geographical, and historical narratives; Syed Sahil Agha, a Dastangoi specialist in 13th-century Urdu storytelling; Adhaar Khurana, an actor, writer, and director from the Indian film industry; Gautam Mukerjee, an author, entrepreneur, and charismatic storyteller; Ulka Mayur, known for presenting folklore, myths, and contemporary tales with elements of theatre, music, and dance; Akshay Gandhi, a rare Kavad storyteller; and Anjana Chandak, a multi-talented performing artist from Bengaluru.

*Star-studded Performances:*
The festival also features celebrated artists such as Rahgir, known for soulful folk music; Zia Nath, an international performer of sacred dances; YUGAM, a folk fusion band; Naya Savera, a unique band comprising former inmates of Udaipur Central Jail; and Out of the box, a Sufi music group comprising Udaipur Jail inmates.

Participants include Maati by Neha Kabra, Knot So Easy by Drishti Bhatt, Bougainville Art Gallery, Fikri and Bejo by Kriti Manan Nahar, Maahru Silver Jewellery, Patola Saree, Rias Jaipur, and more, promising a diverse shopping experience.

*Limited Entry, Affordable Passes:*
With a capacity for only 300 attendees, the festival offers an intimate experience. Entry is priced at INR 200, and passes can be secured via the official website of Udaipur Tales or BookMyShow. Passes can be collected at the venue 1 hour 30 minutes before the event begins.
