In a momentous event, Governor Kalraj Mishra inaugurated the newly constructed Girls College building in Bilota village, situated 20 kilometers away from the city of Udaipur. This institution marks the North Campus of Mohanlal Sukhadia University and Shrinathji Peeth Center of Excellence. The inauguration ceremony was graced by dignitaries including Assembly Speaker Dr. CP Joshi, Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari, and Cooperative Minister Udaylal Anjana, among others.

Governor Mishra lauded the opening of this Girls College as a source of pride not just for the university but for the entire Nathdwara region. He expressed his hope that this college would become a hub for traditional Indian knowledge, fostering women empowerment and the education of girl children. The Governor emphasized the importance of delivering practical education in addition to theoretical knowledge, urging universities to adapt their teachings to the contemporary context.

Highlighting the need for fundamental research, Governor Mishra suggested that universities must focus on cultivating a culture of research. He also alluded to the Nari Shakti Vandan MLA, which underscores women's empowerment and participation in politics. He emphasized that educated girls can make significant contributions to society through their leadership skills and values.

Furthermore, the Governor encouraged time-referenced research at this institution, particularly in areas like the Vaishnav sect, Pichhwai art, and Mrin art of Molela, aligned with the rich heritage of Shrinathji.

Dr. CP Joshi, an honorable guest at the event, fondly reminisced about his time as a student at the university. He applauded the decision to establish a girls' college in his constituency and emphasized the importance of girls' education in society. Dr. Joshi urged parents to ensure that every girl receives at least a secondary education, as this would not only benefit families but also society at large.

In the context of the challenges posed by online education during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Joshi pointed out that students with educated parents had an advantage. He lamented the educational setbacks caused by the pandemic and hoped that the Girls College in Bilota would help revive local art and cultural traditions, like Haveli Sangeet and backyard art of Nathdwara.

Cooperative Minister Udaylal Anjana commended Assembly Speaker CP Joshi for his efforts in promoting girls' education. He expressed his desire for the expansion of Sukhadia University into his assembly constituency, Nimbahera. MP Diya Kumari also highlighted the importance of girls' education and praised the university for reaching beyond its geographical boundaries to establish the Girls College in Rajsamand district.

Vice Chancellor Professor Sunita Mishra welcomed the guests and highlighted the significance of the Girls College in advancing girls' education. She noted that this institution would provide educational opportunities closer to home for girls from surrounding villages. Additionally, she announced plans for multi-faculty studies and B.Ed. courses. Prof. Mishra also requested support from the State Government to bolster the college's staff and mentioned plans for a medicinal garden to conserve various plant species.
