90% Damaged Kidneys Saved

Paras Health Restores Two Kidney Patients in Udaipur

In a remarkable medical achievement, two patients suffering from chronic kidney disease in Udaipur have been given a new lease on life, without the need for dialysis, thanks to advanced medical techniques employed by specialists.

Bushra Naheem and Riaz Mohammak (names changed), both patients, were experiencing symptoms such as swelling, decreased urine output, blood in urine, and other issues, prompting visits to several hospitals. Their kidneys were damaged to an extent of nearly 90%, leaving little hope for successful treatment. However, on the recommendation of a family friend, they sought treatment at Paras Health in Udaipur, where Dr. Ashutosh Soni and his team successfully treated them, saving their lives.

Dr. Ashutosh Soni, Consultant Nephrology at Paras Health, Udaipur, explained that both patients had visited multiple hospitals, where they were advised to undergo continuous dialysis. Their creatinine levels had reached the range of 7-8, indicating severe kidney damage. Biopsy revealed glomerulopathy in the kidneys. Further examinations confirmed 90% kidney damage due to the accumulation of cells in the nephron's glomeruli and fibrin material. Treatment was administered by the ICU Nephro team, leading to the patients' recovery without the need for dialysis.

Expressing their gratitude to Dr. Ashutosh Soni and Paras Health, Udaipur, the patients stated that they had not expected to survive their condition. They emphasized the importance of regular check-ups and cautioning others suffering from kidney problems or any other medical issues to undergo regular examinations and maintain communication with their doctors.
