Bhamini Ojha to Portray Kasturba Gandhi in Web Series 'Gandhi

Renowned Bollywood director Hansal Mehta, known for hits like "Scam 1992" and "Scam," is set to launch a new web series titled "Gandhi" under the Applause Entertainment banner. In this upcoming series, actor Pratik Gandhi will portray Mahatma Gandhi, while Bhamini Ojha, his real-life wife, will take on the role of Kasturba Gandhi, marking her debut in the movie industry.

The announcement of this series coincided with the celebration of Kasturba Gandhi's birth anniversary. Bhamini Ojha, who married Pratik Gandhi in 2008, expressed her excitement about portraying Kasturba, stating, "This is a beautiful turn in my acting journey. It will be her first film as part of an on-screen couple with my husband, Pratik. Working with Hansal Mehta and the team at Applause Entertainment feels like a dream come true, especially alongside my husband."

Bhamini Ojha's portrayal of Kasturba Gandhi, also known as "Ba," promises to showcase the strength, grace, and resilience of this iconic figure.
